Endless Bliss | Happy Lifestyle Blog: the best time of year for the family.

the best time of year for the family.

I can't believe I went this entire week without blogging. Part of me is super disappointed in myself, and the other part of me is incredibly happy because I didn't spend any of my time stressing about it. I got a lot of Christmas shopping done, and I had an amazing time celebrating the holiday season with my family.

Oops. Half of our tree was unfluffed. Oh well.
My family and I ate a somewhat Christmas-y, but not really, Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day, we opened presents and took horrible pictures together complete with bedhead, no bras, and pajamas (none of which will be shown here). Then my sister and I ate some breakfast together prepared by my step-dad while my mom was getting ready for work. Unfortunately, mom usually has to work all the major holidays because she works at the casino.
After breakfast, sister and I changed into our new PJ bottoms and watched some Christmas movies together, including one of my favorites, Eloise at Christmastime, which was a gift that they gave me. I almost forgot how much I loved it. It's so brilliant, and Eloise is such a little sass. Would it be weird to say I want her life? Maybe she's my inspiration for wanting to live in a hotel. We also got to FaceTime my brother, who is currently deployed. His Christmas was coming to an end while we were just getting started.
Mickey Mouse pajama bottoms!

I haven't seen my brother since I graduated from high school 5 1/2 years ago, so I was extremely happy to see his face.
Around 6, we went over to my mom's friend's house and had Christmas dinner with them. Usually when I go over to my mom's friends' houses with them, I just sit and watch TV, eat a lot and play on my phone. Not this time. We got into an intense game of Pictionary. At first, I was like, nah. I don't want to play, but then my competitive side bursted out. We played girls versus boys, and the boys were in the lead for most of the game, but the girls ended up taking it home. It was a blast, and I decided that I want all of my future Christmases to include board games, because they're so much fun.
She looks older than me in this picture, but I'm actually older than her...by 6 years. Oh.
We enjoy taking random selfies.

My step-dad and little sister!

It's not Christmas without wine. #amiright?

I hope y'all had an amazing time celebrating the holidays with your families. Merry Christmas!
