My Spring Essentials
I've seriously been loving all of this sunshine. I've been spending as much time outside as possible just reading, catching up on YouTube videos, and playing with the dogs. I only wish I could temporarily transfer my office outside so I could enjoy the sunshine just a little more. These are a few things that I need (okay, not really need, but love to have) during spring.
1 | A GOOD BOOK
This is also a year-round essential, appropriate for all occasions. Pictured is This Song Will Save Your Life by Lelia Sales. I love this book, and I also adore Leila Sales. I recently just finished reading All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, which was absolutely incredible, and I'm currently reading The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks for #BlissfulBookTalk and listening to I Was Here by Gayle Forman.
2 | ORANGE BEAUTY PRODUCTS
I've really been loving this NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Orange. This is the first cream blush I've ever tried, and I love how fresh it looks and how long-lasting it is.
3 | NEUTROGENA NATURALS PURIFYING MAKEUP REMOVER CLEANSING TOWELETTES
I love using makeup remover wipes, and I've tried a few different brands before discovering these towelettes by Neutrogena. They feel great on my skin and leave my face feeling fresh, and unlike some makeup remover wipes, just one towelette does the trick! They're made from 100% renewable fiber, which helps leave skin purified and fresh and healthy-looking.
The Neutrogena Naturals line has partnered with The Nature Conservancy to help save water, and every day that you don't use water to clean your face, you can save up to five gallons of water. How amazing is that? You can join the #WipeForWater movement with Kristen Bell and use Neutrogena Naturals wipes to reduce your water footprint.
4 | FLOWER CROWNS
I became obsessed with flower crowns last spring, so I'm super excited that flower crown season is officially back! I love wearing flower crowns because they easily brighten up any outfit.
5 | BRIGHT-COLORED NAIL POLISH
Spring is the perfect excuse to throw on some bright nail polish. These are a few of my favorite colors at the moment:
// Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Coral Reef
// NYC'S In a NY Minute in NY Blues
// Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in Solid as a Rock
6 | A BOTTLE OF WINE
Really wine is a year-round essential, because, I mean, wine. I got this Mopina Rosso in my Club W box, and now I'm wondering why I haven't joined a wine club before now.
What are your spring essentials?
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary pack of Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes for testing purposes from Influenster.

A bottle of wine. This just reaffirms your fabulousness. And love those polishes, AND the Neutrogena wipes!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great list! Maybe I will finally find the perfect flower crown this season!!

Bright polish is a must for me this time of year. Also cute sandals.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.amysfashionblog.com/blog-home
I love all of the nail polishes you use! You must have a pretty massive collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Claudia!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried grapefruit wipes! I'm really loving these natural wipes though! I'm also a fan of the Elf wipes and the Olay Fresh Effects.
ReplyDeleteI love flower crowns! The one above is from Icing, but there are also a lot of cute ones at Charlotte Russe that are reasonably priced.
ReplyDeleteWine is definitely just a life essential. Haha. I love finding fruity and sweet wines to drink in the spring. They're perfect to take outside with me when I'm letting the dogs run around.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the book you mentioned, so I'll definitely look into This Song Will Save Your Life because I'm almost done reading Eat, Pray, Love!

Oh my goodness, it's so amazing! You should definitely check it out! I read it pretty quickly because I loved it so much! I still haven't read Eat, Pray, Love, but it's been on my TBR list for awhile.
ReplyDeleteBright nail polish..YES! Now my toes can actually see SUNlight!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. .I love the flower crowns. Fantastic list!
ReplyDeleteI just got a bunch of stuff in the mail from Neutrogena today. I love their stuff! You have some great spring essentials here! xoxo

Do you love Club W? I've always wanted to try! I'm a big wino :) Great post! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love flower crowns too. Easy addition for updos or just letting your hair down.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally digging NYX's butter glosses right now! Bright colors perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteSuch great essentials. :) I think pops of colors and flower anything is a good spring essential.
ReplyDelete1. What is #BlissfulBookTalks?
ReplyDelete2. This list is perfect

Life Like a Twenty Something
Loved this collection of goodies! I just bought those makeup wipes today to see if I liked them! I'm happy to see that you do because I wasn't quite sure about them.

All of these polishes are among my favorites! I really love bringing out Coral Reef for the Spring.
ReplyDeleteI have "This Song Will Save Your Life" on my to-read list this spring as well. I just LOVE the cover lol. And I have to read "The Longest Ride" too. They filmed the movie in my town :)
Now you have me on Google searching for Club W and wondering why I haven't joined a wine club, either. Thanks for sharing about this!
Enjoyed your post!
The only thing I can get behind here is the wine :P No makeup for me! *gulp gulp*
ReplyDeleteMy Spring essentials.. hm.. I am a little high maintenance, so everything I use is probably considered an essential, lmao
I sure do. That I counted I had over a 100 bottle of polish.
ReplyDeleteI have like no fun spring nail polishes. All mine are dark. All the colors you have above are so fun and upbeat and pretty. Looks like I need to go shopping. Hopefully I don't go too wild and crazy.
ReplyDeleteYum wine. It is pretty much summer here in AZ, the only thing that is the same is the allergies ha. Sangrias are good spring/summer drinks too.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in that book. The title alone gets my attention.
ReplyDeleteI am all about the nails. Coral and pastels all the way.
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad you agree! I love coral nails.
ReplyDeleteIt's so good, Camesha! You should definitely pick it up! The paperback version is coming out soon, I believe.
ReplyDeleteWine all the time. I have a friend who's from AZ, and when she described the weather to me, I knew it wasn't something I could handle. Louisiana is how, but Arizona's desert heat has us beat.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely get some spring colors! I do enjoy painting my nails dark colors to though. Most of the time, I actually have them unpainted because I don't like painting them. Lazy.
ReplyDeleteWine every day. You should join Club W, because I feel like you would be crazy happy. My friend, Jimi, gets like 7 bottles a month because he's ridiculous(ly awesome).
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to South Carolina, and we were thinking about splitting the drive in half and stopping in Atlanta. If so, meetup/double-date is happening. I'll stalk you if I have to (but not really, because I'm not THAT creepy).
Coral all the way for spring! It's definitely my favorite. I'm obsessed with the cover of This Song Will Save Your Life too. It's just so pretty. It was also a great read, so I hope you enjoy it! That's so awesome that The Longest Ride was filmed in your town! I'm about halfway through the book, and I'm itching to see the movie. And join Club W! It's the best. I'm seriously just trying to get all my wine-loving friends to join, because seriously, it's the best thing for wine lovers.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy the face wipes! I'm loving them a lot more than I thought I would. Of course, Kristen Bell has done ads for them, and she's my queen, so it should be no surprise.
ReplyDeleteHi Brittany! #BlissfulBookTalk is a little book club of sorts that I made up. It's not really a book club. It's really just me reading a book and sharing my thoughts on social media. I would love to get more people to read the book with me though! You can find a little more information about it here (If you watch the video in the post, you can skip to 12:42): http://www.endlessblissblog.com/2015/02/blissfulbooktalk.html
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, Jazmine!
ReplyDeleteThey really are! I never thought I'd wear a purple lipstick, but I'm obsessed.
ReplyDeleteThey're amazing! I love NYX too, but I've mostly only used their lipsticks and cream blush. If you have any favorite products, I'd love to try them out!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I threw one on the other day because my hair just looked awful, but the flower crown made it look pretty.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT SO MUCH! Of course, this past month was only my first month, but I really enjoy getting the wine in the mail and trying out different kinds, most of which I've never heard of! I'm just really excited to expand my wine knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving these Neutrogena wipes! They just make my face feel so fresh.
ReplyDeleteI love that you're a flower crown lover too! I would love to add a few more to my collection. Or even DIY some!
ReplyDeleteRight?! I feel like my toes have been screaming at me to let them out all winter. Finally!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey have black gel eyeliner that is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great! I've been wanting to join a book club and what better way to do it than with other bloggers! We should definitely set something up! It'll force me to read too when life gets too busy! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the nails too! I'm currently wearing BRIGHT coral with pink sparkles - the warmer the weather, the brighter the colors!
ReplyDeleteacupoftay.com
I definitely need to give that a try! Gel eyeliner is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for a better face-wipe, especially for when I go straight to the gym from work. Recently I had been using Neutrogena Grapefruit Wipes, but I think I may try those natural ones next! Thanks for sharing :) - Alyssa with an A
ReplyDeleteGreat products and ideas!!

I love the face wipes. I use those almost every day. And NYX is quite possibly my favorite makeup brand. I'm loving the oranges, too!
