Claire Coffee
I don't know about you, but I love when celebrities take the time to blog. I have to admit that Claire was never my favorite person, because Adelind drives me crazy on Grimm, but after reading her blog and looking at her Instagram, I just started to adore her so much. Now I follow her on Twitter, and she literally cracks me up, and I love when she live tweets the show.
@tiffanykhyla It’s mutual, Tiffany!! Thank you!
— Claire Coffee (@clairecoffee) November 17, 2014
Ellen DeGeneres
Okay, so Ellen's never actually tweeted me or interacted with any of my tweets or anything, but she is following me, so I feel like that's the first step in us becoming BFFs.
@tiffanykhyla See you soon!

Sheppard
After I discovered "Geronimo" for the first time last November, I pretty much had it on repeat for about a week. I loved it so much! After tweeting about my obsession, they favorited it.
#onrepeat today: Geronimo by @wearesheppard

Caroline Glaser
I really think Caroline should've won the fourth season of The Voice. I was so mad at Adam for kicking her off. Of course, I'm still a fan of hers, and I've been loving her EPs. When I tweeted about it last September, she was kind enough to favorite it.
Listening to @CarolineGlaser's new EP, Better Days, Vol. 2, on repeat today. It so beautiful! #nowplaying #betterdays #onrepeat

Xenia
Xenia was another contestant on The Voice that I loved. She was on season 1, and she was incredible. I love a lot of the songs she's put out, and I'm especially in love with the song "Hiding Places." When I tweeted out about it, she retweeted me.
"Hiding Places" by @Xenia is the perfect song to fall asleep to π§

As soon as I read in Jodi's newsletter that there was going to be a companion novel to Between the Lines, I was so excited that I had to tweet about it, and then I was even more excited when she retweeted me!
There's going to be a sequel to Between the Lines! The #bookworm inside me is squealing with excitement! @jodipicoult http://t.co/Z0s1zeI393

Rainbow Rowell
I became such a fan of Rainbow after reading Eleanor & Park and Fangirl, and she showed me some love by favoriting my tweets.
Losing sleep to finish Eleanor & Park by @rainbowrowell. Worth it. #bookwormprobs
— Tiffany Khyla (@tiffanykhyla) March 17, 2014
@rainbowrowell just continues to amaze me. I loved her book, #Fangirl. Reviewing it on the blog! #bookreview http://t.co/YtVd080seR

Marissa Meyer
During NaNoWriMo, I was obsessed with reading through tips from Marissa, because she started out writing with NaNoWriMo before she was published, and that just really motivated me. Plus, Marissa is just an awesome person, and she had tweeted me in the past, but these ones were extra special because during most of 2014, I was trying to plan out my novel, and she's one of the main reasons I decided to participate in NaNo in the first place.
@tiffanykhyla Aw, thanks! If you ever have any specific questions I can try to work them into a blog post. :)
— Marissa Meyer (@marissa_meyer) July 18, 2014

E. Lockhart
After reading We Were Liars, I became a huge fan of E. Lockhart. This book hooks you from the beginning, and it's this crazy mystery with a mind-blowing ending, and it's just incredible. I was so grateful that she took the time to thank me TWICE after tweeting out about how much I loved her book.
I don't know how I'm going to live a normal life after reading 'We Were Liars' by @elockhart #sobs #depressed #didntseethatcoming

Jennifer Niven
While I was nearing the end of All the Bright Places, I realized that it was almost 1 am, but I was so close to the end, that I decided to just go ahead and finish it. I tweeted out my thoughts, and Jennifer was kind enough to show me some love with a retweet.
Who needs sleep when you're at the end of a really good book? #AllTheBrightPlaces #bookwormproblems @jenniferniven ππ¨
— Tiffany Khyla (@tiffanykhyla) April 10, 2015
Suzanne Young
I was pretty enthusiastic about finishing The Program (though sadly I still haven't read The Treatment), and I think this tweet that Suzanne favorited pretty much says it all.
Holy crap! 'The Program' by @suzanne_young was so incredible. I need to get my hands on 'The Treatment' ASAP! #theprogram

Leila Sales
I adore Leila Sales, and she's tweeted me back before, but every time she interacts with me is exciting. She tweeted about the book cover for her new book, and I tweeted her back saying I loved it, because I do. It's freaking precious. You can look at it here. Then she favorited my tweet.
@LeilaSalesBooks the cover looks beautiful! I love it and can't wait to read it!
— Tiffany Khyla (@tiffanykhyla) November 19, 2014
Sharing a few books I'd like to see as movies by authors such as @marissa_meyer @LeilaSalesBooks @allycondie & more! http://t.co/UJnHqjjmoJ

Frank Portman
When I was at Texas Teen Book Festival, I had an awesome little chat with Frank Portman while I was waiting in the book buying line, and he was peacing out. During one of the activities, I tweeted about the song he sang, which I still love, and he retweeted me!
Can't get "Cinthya with a Y" out of my head @frankportman #TTBF14
— Tiffany Khyla (@tiffanykhyla) October 18, 2014
Leila Howland
I discovered Leila's book when I went to the Austin Teen Book Festival, but I never met her because I didn't buy the book at the festival. I later read it and loved it. She was sweet enough to favorite the tweet I published about reading her book, Nantucket Blue, and then she replied to a later tweet to thank me for reviewing it.
@tiffanykhyla Thanks for the review Tiffany!
— Leila Howland (@leilahowland) September 2, 2014
I love when well-known people interact with me on Twitter, whether it's a celebrity, an author or even a well-known blogger or YouTuber. My dream tweet backs would be Emma Watson, Kristen Bell, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, JK Rowling, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins and Zoe Sugg.
Have any famous or well-known people tweeted you? What famous people do you wish would tweet you back?
I've had celebrities follow my account, retweet and tweet me back. But then I deleted my personal twitter account bc I didn't use it. Lol So I know what its like to see an actual celebrity acknowledge your tweet.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so basically you're famous. I've never had someone famous interact with me! I would squeal, too! Love!!!!

So you're telling me you're a celebrity. AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteLoooove all your tweets and the author responses are always my favorite! I had chip from fixer upper respond to one of my tweets once & jean kwok who wrote girl in translation & I was so excited!
ReplyDeleteSooo jealous about Sarah Dessen. I met her at a book signing and took a picture with her!! She's a great author.
ReplyDeleteGirl! You are on top if it! That's so many celebrities and authors (and authorcelebrities) that have interacted with you. Hands down the best thing about Twitter.
ReplyDeleteI had Lauren Oliver (of Panic and Vanishing Girls) retweet me and Gayle Forman (!!!!) favorite me!
OK ELLEN FOLLOWS YOU WHAT TEACH ME YOUR MAGIC. I think my proudest celebr encounters so far aren't my band fangirling (you'll appreciate this...Alex & Sierra follow me...), but my full three tweet conversation with Sean Lowe from the Bachelor. I tried to convince him to send me a copy of his book and he said he wouldn't know how to pay the bills if he did...resisted the urge to send back a sassy "your life is set from reality TV and an all-expense-paid televised wedding" but yanno, I'll just suck it up and buy it later.
ReplyDeletecominguprosestheblog.com
I have only got Old Navy to favorite and like my IG photos. Which so made my day.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.amysfashionblog.com/blog-home
Haha...That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteI was tweeted by Timothy Omundson and that just about made me want to quit Twitter since nothing would compare.
ReplyDeleteThe day that Ellen follows me is the day I know I've made it. Also, I would have fan girled so hard if Shane West interacted with me.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a long list! I think a got a Bachelor contestant to retweet me once... You're basically a pro at this haha.
ReplyDeleteHaha I love this! I get a stupid glittery feeling when someone of importance follows me, retweets or favorites something. I remember when something got favorited by Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt's character on Parks and Rec). I had a mini freak out and my husband was like, "Shawna...you know that it's not a real person right?" Yes...but STILL! Ha Same goes for my fav author Francesca Lia Block, she follows me and favorites my tweets a lot. So we're like besties.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! White House | Black Market & Hobby Lobby follow me on twitter, and I really feel like I should be able to add that to my resume! Lol You should too ;)
ReplyDeleteXX, SS || A Little Seersucker Sass
Love this post! haha. A few weeks ago, my favorite blogger/girl crush, Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam tweeted me back, and I got the biggest thrill out of it!! It was so exciting!!

How fun! I had an author retweet at me. Always the best!
ReplyDeleteEllen is awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt seriously makes me so happy!
ReplyDeleteEllen is one of my favorite people! I just love her!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! I love her so much!
ReplyDeleteI've never read Gal Meets Glam! I'm going to have to check Julia out!
ReplyDeleteHaha that would be awesome if you could! I love when brands tweet me back. I think Walmart tweeted me once, and I was like, what?!
ReplyDeleteWhat?! I'm so jealous of your Andy Dwyer favorite! It's just so fun even when it is a fictional character. You and Francesca are obvs besties! That's so awesome. I really do want to be best friends with authors. Sigh. One day.
ReplyDeleteHaha I love that! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how Ellen found my page or why she decided to follow me, but it doesn't even matter. It was one of the best days ever. I saw Shane West at a restaurant here, which is why I've been cyber stalking. I'm such a creep.
ReplyDeleteHaha that's so awesome, Breenah!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marissa!
ReplyDeleteIt really does give a little thrill!
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know how Ellen found my page or why she decided to follow me, but it's seriously made my life. I LOVE HER SO MUCH! I'm so jealous of your Alex & Sierra tweet! That's hilarious that you've had a tweet convo with Sean Lowe. He should totally give you a copy of his book. Lame!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I get more thrills from the authors that interact with me on Twitter than most other people. I want all of the authors to be my BFF! Lauren Oliver and Gayle Forman - AHHHH! I just love them. Have you read I Was Here yet? I just finished it last week and loved it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you've met Sarah Dessen! I went to a book festival and saw her speak, but she left before I got to meet her. I was so upset!
ReplyDeleteThat's so awesome, Carly!
ReplyDeleteI just want to be best friends with famous people and authors. I'm going to start with Ellen.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad when I tweet celebs and they don't tweet me back, but I love when they take the time to actually reply. So much happiness.
ReplyDeleteAw man! I'd be so sad to lost all those tweets! I always screenshot mine now so I can remember them all haha.
ReplyDeleteI AGREE. Put in a good word for me? (;
ReplyDeleteDANG GIRL. You have had so many famous people interact with you on Twitter! That's SO neat. I think I would about pass out if Ellen followed me. I remember the day Aaron Carter randomly followed me and I even blogged about it I was so freaking excited.
ReplyDeleteMy friend had been replied to by Amanda Bynes and she thought that was the bomb.
ReplyDeleteThis post was so long in the best way possible!!! I kept getting more and more impressed the more I scrolled!!! I'm pretty sure I said "oh my gosh" five times at least. Haha! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Dang you've had a lot of celeb interactions, you need to put all together in some sort of virtual scrapbook. Lol That's what is so awesome about the web, especially Twitter. It's a chance to directly connect with people we may never have gotten to talk to in real life!
ReplyDeleteIt feels so great when celebs (or brands) tweet back or favorite tweets (or follow!) A few of my favorite bands have followed me after I did concert reviews (and for some odd reason Justin Bieber is following me but I'm not following him?) Last week Lauren Conrad favorite my tweet and I was smiling all day. I think the BEST celeb tweet interaction was when the Tonight Show RTed me! I LOVE Jimmy Fallon so much <3
ReplyDeleteI totally geek out when celebs or popular accounts interact with me. I just love it, and it usually makes my day. haha. This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteMine too! I'm glad I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteI get excited about brands tweeting me back too! Like, you NOTICED ME?! It really makes me happy. That's so awesome that bands have followed you after you did concert reviews! I'd love to do more of those. Ah! Justin Bieber. That's great. Omg! I'm so jealous - I LOVE Lauren Conrad! Ah! And Jimmy Fallon?! Seriously, so jealous right now.
ReplyDeleteI love tweeting to celebrities because I just love when they interact back! It makes me so happy haha. Sometimes, I get more excited about the author interactions, especially when they retweet because maybe it can attract some potential followers and fellow book lovers! I never thought about Instagram though. I need to do that too!
ReplyDeleteYes! It's like a little adrenaline rush every time a celeb interacts with me on Twitter! I'm sure you can make it happen.
ReplyDeleteHaha that would be awesome! I really love that the internet bridges the gap between the famous and the fans!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Miranda! That makes me so happy!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE for Amanda Bynes to tweet me back!
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea how she found me or why she followed me, but I'm SO happy about it! I wish Aaron Carter would have followed ME!
ReplyDeleteSARAH DESSEN HAS A NEW BOOK WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteplayswellwithcoffee.com
It just came out yesterday! GO READ IT!
ReplyDeleteAdded to my list!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! I need to get into Twitter more I just usually tweet my blog post. I am making it a goal to not only tweet but to get a celeb to tweet me back!
ReplyDeleteWow! You're really racked up the celebrity tweet resume! Why have I never thought about this?? Lol...granted I don't really tweet out about celebrities, but I do routinely instagram about books...so I could tag the author there and I could easily tweet that too! Nice job and thanks for the inspiration :).
