I think I'm FALLing for you.

Things I love:
1) Fall
2) Getting stuff in the mail

I recently joined forces with Kristie and Dana to put together an Autumn Swap for bloggers. Kristen paired me with Amy, which I was super excited about because we had swapped boxes earlier this year for Valentine's Day! Amy is so much fun to swap with because she is a really good shopper! We have a lot in common like our love for Paris, scarves, and being in love.

Even with a whole different time of the year to celebrate, Amy did an awesome job finding things I love about fall:

Scarves on scarves on scarves. Amy has amazing taste in scarves. One of my favorite scarves is one that she bought for me for Valentine's Day. Now I have these three scarves to add to my collection.

I'm so excited about these awesome fall treats. I can't wait to make caramel apples with Jon! What a fun date-night-in idea!

All of these fall-scented candles smell so amazing. When I opened the box, my nose was filled with the sweet aroma of fall. Love it!

Dog treats for Molly! When I pulled these out of the box and showed them to her, she was up on her hind legs trying to get one. How adorable is she in this picture? This was taken right before she got to taste the treat for the first time. She devoured it.

Thanks so much to Amy for such a great box! I'm enjoying all of my fall goodies!

February Love in a Box Swap!

As y'all have probably noticed, I love love looooove blogger swap boxes. Not only do you get a lot of awesome stuff, you also get to meet and bond with a blogger that you may not have known otherwise. Kimberly from Kimberly's Chronicles decided that she wanted to start a blogger swap box, so with the help of Megan from Lush to Blush, aka one of my fave blogs/bloggers, the Love in a Box Swap was born!

Kimberly was my partner this month, and it was so lovely getting to know her. She is super sweet and we have a lot in common, like we're both older sisters (and both our sisters are 6 years younger than us), we both love the beach and we're both bookworms! Kimberly sent me a really awesome (and super thoughtful) box this month:

I tore into those Starbursts pretty quick. And I must say that my scarf collection has grown tremendously since I've become a blogger, and I love it. I get so many awesome scarves from these swaps, and Kimberly's is no exception. It's so cute and makes me want spring right now! She also got me a really cute make-up bag. So perfect because the one I have right now is huge! I've been meaning to downsize.

I never told Kimberly this, but I love candles! She got me two candles - one that smells like chocolate. Yum! And the other smells like the beach because, like I said, we both love the beach, but I live a long way from the beach, so this candle will be the closest I get for now. The beach candle is currently burning, and it's making my room smell amazing.

She also got me a ton of nail polish! I love to sparkle, and all three of these do! I can't wait to use them!

She also got me this adorable bow that I couldn't wait to wear! It's one of my favorite colors and it SPARKLES! I wore it to work the day after I got it in the mail. I was way too excited about it.

She even got a little toy for Molly!

I'm so happy that I got to participate in the first month of the Love in a Box Swap. For more information about the swap, visit Kimberly or Megan's blogs and sign up! You won't regret it.

Valentine Box Swap!

Happy Valentine's Day, loves! I've always been a lover of Valentine's Day, even when I didn't have a significant other to spend it with. I love giving out Valentine's Day cards and wearing red and pink, even though they clash, and just celebrating love! I'm a lover of love, whether I was in love or not. Love is such a beautiful thing, and it should always be celebrated, because everyone loves someone and everyone is loved by someone.

This year, even though I have the best Valentine ever (and have for the past 3 years)...

...I decided to join the Valentine's Day Box Swap with Rachael, Ashleigh, and Mandee. I was paired with Amy from Amy Fashion Blog, and we immediately hit it off. Through our numerous emails, we covered all of the important topics, like our favorite kinds of chocolate and her love (and my distaste) of Oreos. She currently lives in Germany, which I love because I was born there and have never been back since. She was a fun person to get to know, and y'all should definitely go check out her page!

Here is what she sent me in my Valentine's Day box:
I was so excited when I opened my package from Amy.
She wrapped everything up in this cute heart tissue paper.
I am in love with both of the scarves that she sent to me. I've already worn the red-ish one twice. I'm obsessed with scarves, and we talked about how I love infinity scarves, and she got me two of them!
I loved all of the little trinkets she included in the package. She got me two cute heart-shaped ornaments, a stationary set, a manicure set and the most amazing bookmark ever. I had just adopted Molly, and frequenters of this blog should know that I love to read, and now I can combine the two loves. The bookmark she gave me allows me to put a picture of Molly inside. Too perfect!
And it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without chocolate! She sent me some yummy chocolate that I have obviously never tried before. I can't even read the words on the back. They were all pretty delicious though.
I'm so glad that I got paired with Amy for this box. We got to know each other really well, and she's become an awesome blog friend!

To see what I sent her, go to her page.

Happy Valentine's Day, and enjoy celebrating LOVE!

merry mail! {ornament exchange}

I love crafting even though I'm not particularly good at it. Usually my crafts are made pretty hastily, because I want to get things done quickly rather than taking my time and making things look perfect. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the ornaments I made for my partners for the Merry Mail Ornament Exchange. So happy, in fact, that I almost went and bought myself another clear ornament so I could make one for myself, but I didn't, though I'm still temped.

For the Merry Mail Ornament Exchange, Kenzie from Chasing Happy (seriously an awesome blog, y'all. If you haven't already, go check it out. Kenzie's blog is just full of so much positivity, optimism and amazingness. You won't be disappointed) grouped us together, and I got grouped with two people who are both from the south, so I was excited that we all had that in common. My group consisted of Keizra from 27th and Luxe and Meghan from eat.live.make.

Here are the lovely ornaments that they sent me:

Keizra's ornament

Meghan's ornament

Aren't they fabulous? How creative, right?

I also want to share the ones that I made for them! They were so easy (and super fun) to make!

All you need is:
Clear ornament
Glitter
Hairspray
Hot glue gun
Feathers
Ribbon
Scissors

1. Take the top off of the ornament and pour a little hairspray into the ornament. Swish it around and make sure that every surface is covered.

2. Pour out any excess hairspray into the sink or paper towel.

3. Pour glitter into the ornament and move it around to try to cover the inside. Repeat this until the entire inside of the ornament is covered.

4. Take your hot glue gun and glue the feathers onto the top as desired.

5. Replace the ornament top.

6. Take stickers and spell out whatever you would like onto the ornament.

7. Tie some ribbon at the top, and voila! Done! How fabulous!

"fall" in love {cara box}.

I'm obsessed with Cara Box. The overall concept is awesome, but I love that Kaitlyn decided to change it from one month to three months. I got to know a my partners a lot better, and I got the opportunity to put together the perfect box for the person that I was mailing to.

For fall, I was paired with Teresa and Britt. I sent Teresa a box, and Britt sent one to me. I loved reading my emails from Teresa every day. We clicked from the get-go, initially bonding over our jobs in the hospitality industry and then we found out that we had a million other things in common too. I know that we'll stay email pals even now that our Cara Box partnership is over. She is super awesome, and you should go check out her blog now.
Britt was also awesome. We both have family in Charleston, South Carolina, which just made me long to go to the beach. She loves her some make-up and works in retail. Go check out her blog! She sent me a sweet box.
What I got:
A notebook
2 pens
ULTA lip gloss
ULTA nail polish
Lacing cord (so crafy)
Carried Away lotion from Bath & Body Works
The lotion smells really good, and I can't wait to use that nail polish.
To see what I got for Teresa, click here!
I've loved all of my Cara Box experiences thus far. If you're a blogger, and you haven't signed up for it yet, you definitely should! Winter signups are coming up!

autumn adventures {snail mail collective}.

So this was my second month participating in the Snail Mail Collective. I skipped September because I wasn't feeling the back to school theme, since I'm not in school, ya know? But I was so excited for October's theme: Autumn Adventures! Fall is my absolute favorite season, so I just had to participate again.
I got so lucky to be paired with such a fantastic partner, Sam. She blogs at Sam 'n Hal, and her love story is just absolutely incredible. I'm fascinated by her life traveling all over the place, and she was in the Peace Corps! Cool, right?

She sent me such an adorable package:

The tea candles are pumpkin spice and smell absolutely divine. Of course, my favorite color is pink, so I loooove the nail polish. The mustaches are too funny. I can't wait to use them for whatever strange adventure I choose. She got the book from, and I quote, "THE coolest used bookstore." I love to read, so I can't wait to dive into it.

The Snail Mail Collective is a super fun way to get to know fellow bloggers and give/receive some fun goodies in the mail. I'm so lucky to have gotten paired with such a sweet person!

Have y'all ever done the Snail Mail Collective before? If not, go go go check it out!

And don't forget to like my new Facebook page!

my first snail mail collective.

Sorry this is coming at y'all a little late, but I finally got my package for my first Snail Mail Collective, and I'm so excited to share it. Unfortunately, the package I sent to my partner is currently lost in the mail somewhere. Dang USPS.

Anyway, I was partnered with Kelsey from April Sprinkles. I loved getting to know her via email, and even though August has come and gone, we still chat, which I love. Like I've said a million times, my favorite part about blogging is connecting with people on a more personal level than commenting on each other's pages. When you can make a connection with a stranger and become friends, that's so special. I'm so glad that I got paired with Kelsey this month. She is aca-awesome!

 photo 83f1a670-909f-4ca6-b49b-160a2393315f_zpsa4d3754e.jpg

What I got:
Seattle postcard with a lovely note
Yellow headband (crocheted by Kelsey herself! I told her I always wanted one, and BAM! Got one!)
Coral and gold notebook (two of my favorite colors)
HEDGEHOG NECKLACE

As you can probably tell, I was pretty excited about that hedgehog necklace. I've never seen one before and don't even know where you would find one, but Kelsey did, because she's awesome. I love love LOVE it so much. Ahh!

Y'all should definitely sign up for the Snail Mail Collective. It's such an awesome way to meet new people each month. Go do it!

If you're interested in guest posting on d'Asti at Tiffany's, please email me at tiffanykwhite@gmail.com. Thanks!

my first cara box!

So this month, I did my first Cara Box, and it really was the most amazing blog experience I've had yet. I got to connect with two awesome bloggers, and then send off a kick-butt box (if I do say so myself) to one and receive a super awesome box from another.

I don't think my pairs could have been any more spot on. The blogger I sent my box to is Rachel from Sunshine and Sinatra. I can't explain how much I love this girl. We've bonded amazingly, and I couldn't have asked for a better match. To see the Cara Box I sent her, go check out her post.

The blogger who sent me a Cara Box is Elyssa from Snatching Sequins. She's a fashion blogger, and she's absolutely fabulous. We have a ton of stuff in common, including our love for Sarah Dessen, Harry Potter, dachshunds, and anything sparkly. The box she sent me was spot on.

Look how precious the wrapping is. The pink ribbon is perfect, and all of the cute notes were so fun.

What I got:
Pug greeting card
Thank You notes with a bookshelf theme
Infinity scarf
Pink sunglasses
Princess Band-Aids
Sour Patch Kids
Socks
Coral Reef Hard as Nails nail polish
Perky Pink Hard as Nails nail polish

I love everything! Elyssa did such an awesome job picking things out for me. So much pink and so much sparkly. I loved my first Cara Box experience.
