Baby, You're My Summer Jam

Summer is upon us, y'all. Even though summer technically doesn't start until Sunday, it's been feeling like summer for quite some time down in Louisiana. The humidity is outrageous, the heat is unbearable and the sun has come out to play.

For a lot of people, summer is synonymous with vacation, and I'm no exception to this. I only have one trip planned for the summer (Chicago for T. Swift, duh), but I'm hoping for a spontaneous road trip or two. And what's the best part of a spontaneous road trip? Picking the music! Okay, well, maybe that's not the best part, but having a good summer road trip playlist is definitely a fun way to get excited about your trip. These are a few of my current favorite summer road trip jams.

JUST KIDS - ALEX & SIERRA
If y'all follow me on Twitter, then you know my love for Alex & Sierra runs deep. They recently followed me on Twitter, and I took a screenshot because it made me so unbelievably happy. These two are so, so talented. I can listen to their entire album from start to finish. "Just Kids" is one my faves because it's a feel good, happy song about just living life.

Favorite lyrics: This is our turn now / Nothing left to think about / Baby, let your hair down

WORTH IT - FIFTH HARMONY, KID INK
Y'all can thank Colleen for this one. I first heard this song when she and her friend, Kory, did a sassy dance to it. After that, it was over. I've been listening to this ever since. This song just makes me want to dance!

Favorite lyrics: Uh huh, see me in the spot like / "Ooh I love your style" / Uh huh, show me what you got / Cause I don't wanna waste my time

SAY MY NAME - ODESZA, ZYRA
One of my co-workers introduced me to ODESZA, and this is easily my favorite song by them. I've probably listened to it every day since I first heard it. It's just hard not to love it.

Favorite lyrics: I always fall for confidence / And your compliments look good on me

YOU KNOW YOU LIKE IT - DJ SNAKE, ALUNAGEORGE
I literally love all of the lyrics in this song. I decided it's my temporary anthem.

Favorite lyrics: Some people want me to be heads or tails / I say no way, try again another day / I should be happy, not tipping the scales / I just won't lay, letting my life get away

SPARKS - HILARY DUFF
I'm so glad Hilary is back, because I love her. She's just as beautiful as ever, and even though I wasn't a huge fan of her hair at first, I'm kind of loving it in this video. I can totally picture myself driving with the windows down and this song blasting. I only say this because it's already happened.

Favorite lyrics: Turn the lights down low and kiss me in the dark / Cause when you're touching me / Baby, I see sparks

THIS HEAD I HOLD - ELECTRIC GUEST
This song is so funky, and I can't help but move my shoulders to the beat when I hear it.

Favorite lyrics: See the answer is this / If I wanna be free / I gotta stop playin' round and runnin' from me

BOYS IN THE SUMMER - JESSIE JAMES
Of course I had to include at least one song about summer. I mentioned this song last year when I shared my favorite songs about summer. I just adore Jessie James and "Boys in the Summer" so much. The music video is too cute. This song is the perfect addition to all girls' summer road trip playlists.

Favorite lyrics: It's hot as hell, even in the shade / Squeeze you a little bit of lemonade / Wearing next to nothing and we like it

Meet Erica from Coming Up Roses!
Erica is one of my blogging besties, and she's absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Trust me, y'all. This girl has a heart of gold, and she's also one of the quirkiest and most adorable people I know.

I'm a Philadelphia-based ENFJ with a love for strong coffee, loud laughter, a bold lip and killer shoes. I like starting my day off with prayer, inspirational quotes, YouTube beauty guru videos, and Honey Nut Cheerios and ending with a glass of Cabernet. Coming Up Roses is a hub for inspirational, funny, and pretty things every MWF. For essentially another in-person BFF, come hang out with me on YouTube!

 Leopard Booties, 10 ways

What's your favorite thing about summer?
I love that I get to camp out at the fiance's and come home every night to cook dinner together and catch up on Netflix. I love heading to the parents' house for the weekend to lay poolside and wedding plan with my momma, and I actually love being on more of a "real world" routine with work, so I know when everything is slotted to get done!

What's the best advice you've ever received?
Life is going to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles you face, so take everything in stride, focus, and follow your dreams with the full intention of getting there. That, and with regards to blogging, "keep your eyes on your own paper!" It can be far too easy to start comparing yourself to everyone under the sun, but that's just toxic and never leave you feeling good. Just focus on always bettering yourself and helping others, and you will see progress!

What's something that you're passionate about?
Inspiring others to believe in themselves and create full, joyful lives. I really wish my full-time career could be "inspiring people." I just want to go around making people's days all the time and make a life out of that. Is that possible??

What are you most looking forward to about married life?
Getting to wake up and fall asleep every night with my best friend. And more regular toothbrush wars. I'm also really excited to change my last name and embrace this challenge of living selflessly for another person. It's really intimidating to me, but so so beautiful.

What's something that always makes you happy?
Watching Miranda Sings videos on YouTube. Actually though. I just have such a respect for Colleen's acting abilities - she never breaks character! The former theater girl in me is screaming with sheer bliss every time I watch her.

Favorite Childhood Movie Characters | Guest Post

Special thanks to Emily from Little Flecks of Gold for sharing her favorite childhood movie characters in today's guest post!

It’s only natural that our favorite childhood movies will have a new meaning to us when we’re older, it’s always a pleasant surprise when you realize your favorite childhood movies are filled with strong female characters and inspirational storylines, not just slyly mature dialogue. Lately, when I’ve rewatched a few of my favorite childhood movies, I’ve been able to see the characters that influenced me the most as a child, whether it was to improve, stand up for, or simply be myself. While I have many I could add to this list, here are just a few of my favorites:

Lily Moskowitz
I was obsessed with Princess Diaries as a child and decided to rewatch it a couple months ago. While I always wanted to be Princess Mia as a child, this time around, I found myself admiring her best friend instead. Not only is Lily incredibly loyal to and supportive of Mia, she has an immense amount of self-respect for any woman, let alone a high schooler (I wanted to cheer when she tells Jeremiah “The way to a girl’s heart is not by treating her like a vending machine.”)

Belle
The title of “favorite Disney princess” was on frequent rotation during my childhood, but Belle wins it by a landslide now. Beauty and the Beast focuses very little on the superficial aspects that a lot of other movies do. Besides the obvious “don’t judge a book by its cover” message in the film, Belle’s knowledge and love of learning is portrayed as one of her best attributes, instead of tiny feet or mile-long hair. I also love that Belle’s story doesn’t revolve around a typical damsel-in-distress storyline, instead the story begins with Belle saving her father from the beast.

Eliza Doolittle
The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady were my favorite musicals as a kid. While I used to love My Fair Lady for the music and costumes (and still do), I’ve come to love it for its inspirational main character. Even though Eliza was raised in poverty, she made a career for herself and took the first opportunity to improve her living conditions, even though it would be demanding. Eliza was determined to become more cultured and worked hard, even when her training was draining and tedious. Although Henry Higgins was condescending and misogynistic towards Eliza, she wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. In the end, Eliza doesn’t change who she is or succumb to social pressure. Instead, she becomes a better version of herself (while rocking some really great hairstyles.)

Luna Lovegood
As someone who watched the Harry Potter movies countless times and read the entire series twice before hitting my teenage years, it figures that it’s been a major influence in my life. While nearly all the female Harry Potter characters belong on this list (except for maybe Cho Chang and Dolores Umbridge), Luna’s been my favorite ever since Order of the Phoenix came out. I was immediately drawn to Luna for her quirky charm and positive attitude. Nothing could keep Luna from being herself and looking on the bright side, which I think is a great lesson for any young girl.

Now that you’ve seen some of my favorite fictional characters, who are some of yours?

Movin' Shakin' Groovin' | Swon Brothers Concert

I was never one to watch live singing or talent shows on TV. I never got down with American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, America's Got Talent or the like, but when I saw a preview for The Voice, I knew I was going to watch it. I was a devoted fan for the first four seasons, but once a million other good shows started coming on and they started making the show two days in a row, I just didn't have enough time to devote to the show anymore. Plus, can we talk about those commercial breaks for a second? There are so many!

Anyway, when The Swon Brothers were on The Voice during season four. That entire season was an incredible season of awesome talent, but of course I loved The Swon Brothers from the beginning. They're just naturally talented, and their voices complimented each other so well. Y'all know I love country music, and these boys brought it.

Last weekend, The Swon Brothers came to Shreveport/Bossier, and I couldn't resist begging Jon to come with me to see them. Much of the world hasn't caught on to the amazingness of this duo yet, but once they do, I'm sure the ticket prices will skyrocket. Until then, I'll brag to my friends about how I met them, and they can be jealous that I got to experience their awesomeness while tickets were just $20.

The Swon Brothers played a lot of songs from their self-titled album. I think most fans of country music are aware of their first two singles, "Later On" and "Pray for You," but there are so many other songs worth mentioning too. In addition to those two, my favorite song is "Pretty Beautiful." It's just so sweet and such a pretty (beautiful) song.

They were so entertaining in concert. People would come up to the stage to take closer pictures of them, and they bent down to pose for the photos and sometimes they even bent down to take a selfie with them. They did a lot of ad-libbing and spoke to the crowd a lot. There was a this lady in the crowd wearing a Taylor Swift shirt, and they called her onto the stage, called her out because she wasn't wearing one of their shirts and then offered her a free shirt at their merch table.

My favorite part of the show was the pop song battle between each of them and their guitarist, Seth Costner (who actually has an album of his own). Seth started the battle with a cover of "Blurred Lines," which was pretty dang entertaining. Zach came in and said if they do pop song covers, they need to do something that speaks to the ladies, so he did "Stay With Me." Colton said it was best to go old school, and he covered "My Girl." They all did amazing, but I think Colton took the cake with his little throwback.

I'm sad that this is the only decent picture I got of Seth Costner. He was so awesome that I spent his cover singing and dancing along and not taking pictures.

They came back for an encore afterward, and they even did a cover of "American Girl." Seriously, every song they did was incredible. It really just shows how talented they are, because they came onto the stage and owned it. Even Jon had a great time, and he's not the biggest fan of going to concerts.

After the concert, The Swon Brothers stayed to meet everyone that bought merch. I bought a picture, which they both signed, and then they posed for a picture with everyone and posted it on their Facebook page. I thought it was neat of them to stay and meet everyone.

As you can probably tell, I had an absolutely awesome time, and if I ever get the opportunity to see them again, I'll definitely be there.

Did you watch The Voice? Are you a fan of The Swon Brothers?

Ranking of Taylor Swift's Music Videos

ranking of taylor swift's music videos
Paulo Villanueva
Since Taylor Swift's music video for "Bad Blood" dropped on Sunday, I thought it would be the appropriate time to take a road trip down memory through Taylor's music videos. I know I've mentioned being a fan of hers since she had frizzy curls and cowgirl boots, but whether she's singing country or the latest pop ballad, I'm standing behind her screaming all of the lyrics. These are my rankings of T. Swift's music videos.

Side note: This was the hardest ranking I've ever done in my entire life.

24 // CHANGE
I do enjoy the song, but the video leaves something to be desired.

23 // OUR SONG
As much as I love this song (and as adorable as Taylor looks in her princess dress), the music video doesn't live up to its full potential. I would have loved to see a story play out rather than her just singing in a bunch of different outfits.

22 // FIFTEEN
I think this music video would have been much better without the random whimsical things growing and flying out of nowhere. "Fifteen" has such an amazing message for teenagers, and I think music video should have shown that. I would have loved Abigail to do something more dramatic when that guy screws her over.

21 // TIM MCGRAW
The music video that started it all.

20 // STYLE
I just don't know what to say about this music video. It has some cute moments and some weird moments. I more enjoyed the cute parts, but it was mostly weird parts. I do like the artiness of it, but I pictured the music video for "Style" much different.

19 // SAFE & SOUND
This video really shows how naturally beautiful Taylor Swift is. Seriously, this girl is flawless.

18 // MEAN
Taylor sends such an awesome message with this video. People are so mean for no reason, and think she did a good job showing that people are made of for reasons as small as wearing a different colored bow on their dress.

17 // BACK TO DECEMBER
I love this song. I love the message. I love Taylor's vulnerability while singing it. I think a lot of people can relate. All that said, nothing really happened. It's a nice video, but it's not one that I'd go back and watch over and over.

16 // WHITE HORSE
Heart. Breaking. And sadly, a harsh reality for a lot of girls at some point in their lives.

15 // THE STORY OF US
I love this song because it compares relationships to books. I love this music video because Taylor Swift goes crazy in a library.

14 // WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER
The perfect depiction of what to do after you break up with someone - have a party in your PJs.

13 // BEGIN AGAIN
It's hard not to enjoy this music video when it was shot in Paris!

12 // BAD BLOOD
There was a lot happening in this video. Watching it after watching the video for "Tim McGraw" really showed how far she's come as far as music video budgets are concerned. I think I would have liked to see more fight scenes rather than just introductions of everyone. When she was showing the video posters for all of the people in the video, I thought it was going to be a long video that told a super long story. I really enjoyed it though and watched it quite a few times. I think my favorite scene is the beginning one with Catastrophe and Arsyn kickin' butt and takin' names. Also, Taylor looks badass with red hair.

11 // TEARDROPS ON MY GUITAR
I think this video show an arrow through a lot of girls' hearts. This song alone is so relatable, but the video just really hits home.

10 // MINE
I really love the escalation of this music video. So much love. So much adorable. T. Swift is going to make the most precious mama.

9 // OURS
This is one of my favorite songs by Taylor Swift. It's just so adorable and describes how I feel about Jon. The thing I love most about this video is that it perfectly depicts how Taylor Swift's hair would would look if she worked a 9-5. Plus, it shows that even if you have a crappy day at work, you get to go home to the one you love, and that  makes everything better. I also love that her boyfriend is a soldier.

8 // I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE
I like this video because it's like a mini film with dialogue and flashbacks and a story to tell.

7 // PICTURE TO BURN
"Picture to Burn" is one of my favorite songs by Taylor (the version with the "That's fine, I'll tell mine you're gay" line), and the video shows a dramatic version of what every girl would like to do to their slimy ex-boyfriends.

6 // 22
This video depicts pretty much everything I want to do with my girlfriends on a daily basis. Just so much fun and cuteness all around.

5 // EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED
I was so obsessed with this music video with mini Taylor Swift and mini Ed Sheeran. They're so quirky and obviously meant to be biffles. That part with them doing yoga. Plus, that magic marker insanity. To cute for words.

4 // LOVE STORY
How can you not love this music video? It's classic Romeo and Juliet. Taylor looks gorgeous. Romeo is handsome as all get out. It's like a modern fairy tale told in four minutes.

3 // SHAKE IT OFF
It's hard not to adore this music video. I love seeing Taylor try and fail at all of these different dance genres. It definitely makes you want to get up and dance along (which I do...often).

2 // BLANK SPACE
The outfits alone are absolutely incredible. Add in Taylor's insanity, an adorable picnic, Taylor standing on a horse, the ruining of an expensive car, and one of my favorite songs from the album, and you have a work of art.

1 // YOU BELONG WITH ME
I don't know how any video could replace my love of this one. It was so fun to see two different Taylor personalities. Plus, it's such a fun video where Taylor let's her dork flag fly. How can you not love that long hair part and huge glasses? Not to mention, Lucas Till. *Swoon*

What are your favorite Taylor Swift videos? What are your thoughts on the "Bad Blood" music video?

Songs to Listen to When You're Sad.

sad songs

I think an interesting thing about being a blogger and reading blogs is that about 95% of the blogs you read and write are about happy stuff. It's rare that bloggers write about the bad things that happen to them. Usually, it's about vacations they want to take, advice they want to give, outfits they wore, etc.

When I sat down to write this post, I wasn't in a good place. I just had a breakdown at work because I'm going through yet another quarter-life crisis. I always feel like I'm stuck, but my brain is going in a million different directions. I wasn't in a good place, and I felt like there was nothing that could pull me out of it. I'm so lucky to have Jon who just sat there with me and let me cry on his chest and my puppies who showered me with kisses.

I've never been the kind of person who can be instantly pulled out of a bad or sad mood. It's usually a combination of things, and yesterday, what I needed was a good cry with my boyfriend, love from my dogs, laughs while watching Friends, a lot of good food, clips from Lip Sync Battle, and a lot of sad music.

Ironically, sad music makes me feel better sometimes because I feel like the songs are speaking to me. It's like someone out there gets it, and they're singing it to me. These are a few songs that helped pull me out of my sad mood yesterday.

PERFECT - HEDLEY
// I'm not perfect, but I keep trying cause that's what I said I would do from the start.

BOSTON - AUGUSTANA
// You don't know me, you don't even care...I think I'll start a new life, I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name.

HIDE - A FRIEND IN LONDON
// I'm so tired now. Gonna go lay down, gonna hide in my bed until everything safe and, I might never wake up. I blew it all, I'll never wake up. Gonna hide in my bed until everything is safe and the sun comes up again.

WHEN IT RAINS - PARAMORE
// And when it rains, on this side of town it touches, everything.

RIVERS AND ROADS - THE HEAD AND THE HEART
// If you don't know what to make of this, then we will not relate.

COUGH SYRUP - YOUNG THE GIANT
// If I could find a way to see this straight, I'd run away to some fortune that I, I should have found by now

BAD DAY - DANIEL POWTER
(It wouldn't be a sad song playlist without this one.)
// You're faking a smile with the coffee you go. You tell me your life's been way off line. You're falling to pieces every time.

I have a whole playlist of songs that I like to listen to when I'm having a bad day. The songs cover a number of bases - feeling lost, feeling lonely, feeling worthless, relationships, etc. It's called "Let It Rain," and you can listen to it here

Wheels Up Tour with Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt!

Lady Antebellum Wheels Up Tour

I've been a long time fan of Lady Antebellum ever since I first heard "Lookin' For a Good Time." I love so many songs by them, because they're so fun and catchy. I knew I liked Lady Antebellum, but after seeing them live for their Wheels Up Tour, I'm officially obsessed.

Admittedly, when I bought tickets for the concert, I was most excited to see Sam Hunt. I love every single song he sings. Plus, he's not bad to look at. *wink emoji* Sadly, Sam was only onstage for about thirty minutes, but it was an incredible thirty minutes. He's so talented, especially live. I saw him perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards, but he only sang a condensed version of one of his songs. I jammed out to every one of his songs, because they're all so freaking good!

Hunter Hayes's set was twice as long, and I adored him. He just seemed so humble, and he just genuinely looked like he loved being onstage. I had no idea he was so incredible on guitar. He seriously rocked out on at least six different guitars, and his guitar solos were so freaking good. His singing was, of course, amazing, but he really blew my mind with his guitar skills.

I jammed out to Lady Antebellum pretty hard. They played all of their hit songs plus a few songs off of their latest album, 747. At one point, they went to a mini stage in the middle of the floor seats, and sang a few songs acoustic. They played two covers, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran and "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye.

Hunter Hayes came out and joined them to play what I think was a mandolin. Clearly, I don't know my instruments, but he was awesome. They also brought Sam Hunt out, and he, Lady Antebellum and Hunter Hayes all rocked out to "Walk This Way." Definitely a highlight.

For the encore, Lady A came back out and sang the title song from their album "747," plus two more songs. Hilary did a little outfit change too.

I love going to concerts so much, and this one was so incredible because every single act was So Good. It made me become just a bit obsessed with all of them.

TV Shows to Binge Watch on Netflix

TV shows to binge-watch on Netflix

I didn't realize how much I loved watching TV until I became an adult, and Jon let me have my own profile on his Netflix account. I was able to catch up on shows that I was dying to watch and discover new shows to love. It's amazing how easy it is for me to fall in love with TV shows that are so diverse. I love discovering new shows and sharing the ones I love with others. Here are a few series that are on Netflix that you should be watching.

Note: Some of these trailers are fan made and some are just clips, but you get the idea.

If you haven't started watching these shows, what are you even doing?
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
I watched this show in one sitting. It's a Netflix series about a girl named Kimmie who was rescued from an underground cult. Instead of returning to her small town, she decides to take residence in NYC. Hilarity ensues.

Friends with Benefits
Okay, so this show isn't new, but I just started watching it, so I'm counting it as new. Netflix kept suggesting this show to me, and after finally giving in, I found out why. Friends with Benefits is so hilarious. It's perfect for millennials because it follows the lives of a five friends who are not only trying to figure out their romantic lives, but also just their lives in general. It also helps that the star of the show is Ryan Hansen who I already love from his roll as Dick Casablancas in Veronica Mars.

Salem
Okay, so this isn't technically a new show, but it's new to me, so I'm including it here. It's actually in its second season right now. I mostly became interested in it because of my close encounter with Shane West. The show is shot in Shreveport, so its neat to watch a show that's being made right where I live. I think we all know the age-old story of witches and Salem, and this show just builds on that.

Some endings I'm satisfied with. Some endings make me made to think about. At least the writers and creators, etc. were nice enough to at least provide an ending.
Parenthood
I've still in the beginning seasons of this show, so I have a long way to go. I've already fallen in love with it though. It has such a great cast and there are so many stories to follow, but in a good way. It pretty much follows the lives of the Braverman family and the trials and tribulations of life. Sounds simple, but it's awesome.

Revenge
The Revenge season finale airs this weekend, and I'm already freaking out about it. I think the first two seasons were top notch, and it did kind of start to fall off with the introduction of so many new characters. I still enjoy it though. Any show that stresses me out is a good show. Revenge follows the story of Amanda Clarke, aka Emily Thorne. She's trying to get revenge on all of the people that framed her father for a plane crash that killed hundreds of people.

Glee
Good ole Glee. Sadly, I still haven't watched the last season. I do have to say that the first three seasons of this show were absolutely incredible. It kind of fell off from there when they started introducing all of the new cast members. They just didn't compare. I recently watched the fifth season when they put it on Netflix, and I'll be watching the last when they finally add it to the site. Glee follows a group of high school students who are in glee club, and it's just a bunch of high school drama (and later college drama) with singing, and it's awesome.

Ugly Betty
I actually didn't watch this show until years after it ended, but it was so cute. Even though it does come to a conclusion, it still made me sad that it ended because I loved it so much. I've adored America Ferrara ever since I saw her in Gotta Kick It Up, and she's been amazing in everything I've seen since. Ugly Betty is about a girl named Betty who gets a job for a fashion magazine. She doesn't look the way everyone in the fashion industry thinks she should look, and from that, hilarity just ensues. It's just a fun show.

Gossip Girl
Oh, Gossip Girl. I loved this show so much during the first few seasons, and then it just got strange. When they revealed who Gossip Girl was at the end, I thought they went with someone too obvious, but at the same time, I guess it made sense. If you've never seen the show or read the book series because you've been living under a rock, it's about a popular site called Gossip Girl that follows the lives of the privileged students living in the Upper East Side.

Lost
Admittedly, I got lost in Lost in the last couple of seasons, but overall, I really enjoyed the show. The first season was my favorite because it was just a great intro season. The show is about a group of people who crash on an island, and then a whole bunch of random, nonsense stuff starts happening to them. It gets pretty insane (and confusing) toward the end.

All of these shows were so good, and I'm still mad at everyone involved in the cancellation of them. And they say I don't know how to hold a grudge... psh!
Lie to Me
This was such a good show, and I still can't believe they cancelled it. With all of the crappy shows that are still on the air, this amazing show got cut, and it still upsets me. It's about a guy who is essentially a human lie detector, and he helps solve crimes with this ability. It's pretty insane...and awesome!

Firefly
I know a lot of people were disappointed about the way this show ended, and even though they made a movie to try to make up for it, it still wasn't the same. This show deserved to go on. It was about a small crew onboard a ship, and a lot of stuff happens. That's about the best description I can give. Oops. I couldn't find a good trailer, but here's this:

Dollhouse
Poor Joss Whedon. He's just the creator of these out of this world, crazy awesome shows that just get cancelled, and then people fall in love with them when it's too late. It's such a shame. I loved this show and gave up my Friday nights to watch it. It's hard not to have a girl crush on Eliza Dushku because she's so flawless. Dollhouse is the name given to this secret lab (or really series of labs) where people volunteer to have their memories erased. They are then implanted with different memories to complete assignments. I know. Your mind just blew. And yeah, yeah. They had the epitaphs that kind of ended the series, but no. This show should have gone on for several more seasons.

Hart of Dixie
Hart of Dixie is such a cute show. It's about a doctor from New York named Zoe Hart who moves to a small town after inheriting half of someone's medical practice. Rachel Bilson plays the role so well, and I just love her. I haven't actually watched the last season yet, but as soon as it's on Netflix...binge-watch!

Heroes
I know a lot of people were bittersweet about the ending of Heroes. The first two seasons were top notch, and then it was like whaaaaat?! It got a little crazy with that carnival. I really hate that the show just ended though. I think they could have steered it back in the right direction. The show is essentially about regular people who find out they have superpowers.

Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23
I had a hard time placing this show because it was a sitcom that didn't necessarily have a huge, stressful storyline. It was a lot of fun though, and I'm sad it was cancelled. The show was about a small town girl who moves into an apartment in NYC with a party girl. It was just a huge laugh.

I have a love/hate relationship with these shows. Love because they're amazing, and I love them so much. Hate because I have to wait an entire week between episodes.
New Girl
I love this show so much. Zoey Deschanel is everything. She's so freaking adorable. I also love all of the roommates. They're all just so fun together. I've never seen an episode of New Girl that I didn't like. If you haven't seen the show, it's about a girl who moves in with a bunch of guys, and it's just a lot of funny.

Once Upon a Time
I have to admit that I'm not loving this season of OUAT. The first couple seasons were amazing. I couldn't stop watching. I looked forward to the new episodes even though they stressed me out. I haven't really loved this season at all. The Frozen stuff happened too fast, and having all of these villains in it just doesn't make sense. Also, when did Henry become irrelevant. If you've never heard of it or seen the show, none of that made sense, but it's essentially about fairy tale characters being forced to live in the modern day.

Supernatural
I think we all know about my love for Supernatural. I mean, I can't get enough. This season has been meh for me, because 1) I'm over the mark, and 2) I hate Rowena so much. I'm just done with her. Overall, it's such a great show though. The only season that I legitimately didn't enjoy was season six, but Supernatural has become one of my favorite shows thanks to Jon. It follows brother Sam and Dean Winchester, and they fight the supernatural.

Bates Motel
If you've seen and loved the movie, Psycho, but haven't watched Bates Motel, what are you even doing with your life? Even if you haven't seen Psycho, you should still watch it. It tells the story of Norman Bates and how he became the character in the movie. It's so interesting, and you just want Norman to be normal, but you know he won't be because of the movie. It's just a whole lot of crazy.

Scandal
One of the best shows ever. It took me awhile to actually start watching the show, but once I did, I was hooked. It's all about a bunch of political drama, but more. I love it!

The 100
After meeting Kass Morgan and reading the first book in the series, I had to watch the show. It's a completely different entity, but I still love both. The 100 is about a world in the future where people are living in space because Earth has become unlivable. When they start running out of oxygen and resources, they send 100 delinquent kids down to Earth to see if they can make it safe place to live. They discover there are already people living on Earth, and then it's chaos. Amazing chaos.

Even though these shows ended long ago, I still don't mind binge watching them for fun.
Gilmore Girls
I will forever love this show. To be honest though, I've never watched the last season, and I'm about halfway through and can't bring myself to finish it. I hate the last season so much. I'm going to get to it eventually, but I'm not in a rush.

Friends
If you've never seen Friends, then you're living life wrong. This is the best show ever. It will always be my favorite.

How I Met Your Mother
Even though I was pretty disappointed in the last season (that season finale killed me), I still loved this show. It's hilarious, the cast is amazing, and I just love everything about it. If you haven't watched HIMYM, it centers around the life of a guy named Ted Mosby and his relationship with his best friends, Barney, Marshall, Lily and Robin. It's called HIMYM because it's told in flashbacks, and he's telling his children all of the events that led up to him meeting their mother.

Roswell
This was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. It's about a group of kids who end up being aliens. It sounds so dorky, but it's so interesting. This is the show that made me love Katherine Heigl. I knew she was destined for awesome.
