1989 Lyrics That Pretty Much Define Life In Your 20's.
It's no secret that I'm absolutely obsessed with Taylor Swift. She helped me through so many tragic parts of my life, and she doesn't even know it. 1989 is one of the best albums she's ever made (even though all of them are freaking amazing) because all of the lyrics speak to me (which isn't a surprise, because they always do).
Because Taylor and I are the same age, I feel like we're kind of in the same mindset for a lot of things, which is why I've always felt like her lyrics were so relevant. These are some of the lyrics that I think most people in their 20's can relate to.
ON FRIENDSHIP
1 // "I miss you too much to be mad anymore" from I Wish You Would
For the moments when you're pissed off at your best friend, but something amazing happens, and she's the only one you want to tell.

The entire song pretty much describes the ultimate betrayal between two friends. Some fences are impossible to mend, and the friendships that last in your 20's are the ones that will last a lifetime.

I can think of a few nights involving strong drinks where this line is so relevant. Everyone's having a good time until one person gets emotional and ruins all the fun.
