Austin
Okay, seriously, if y'all didn't read about my weekend in Austin and my nerdy bookworm ATBF adventure, then go read those now. Last weekend alone tired the crap out of me.
Work
Obviously, I've been working. I work from 8:30 am - 5 pm every day. Fall and winter are going to be very exciting seasons at the hotel, and I'm pretty pumped about it, especially with Halloween and Christmas coming up! We've been doing a lot of service projects at the hotel, so that's been keeping me busy, but it's been so fun too! I love volunteering. Here's a work mirror selfie. I like colored pants.
Apartment
I can finally see the floor in my new bedroom! It's seriously been taking me forever because after I work for eight hours, I have no desire to come home and unpack. I've been dragging my feet for the past couple of weeks trying to get it done, but when I got back from Austin and came home to that, I just got really depressed. I'm not at the decorating stage. I have a few things to paint that I'm pretty excited about, and I can't wait to share them with y'all! Also, I'm doing a project with postcards, and I need some postcards from as many places as possible, so if you're willing to help me out, please send me an email or leave a comment below! Thanks in advance! :)
Bookworm-ing
Okay, I'm in the middle of reading Rats Saw God by Rob Thomas, and I just want to finish it so much so I can read all of the other books I got from ATBF. I'm such a nerd, I know.
What have y'all been up to?
So many good books in a row girl . I am reading my Physic's and it's GRRRRRR!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous you work at a hotel! I loooove everything about hotels, haha. I've been going to school full time, trying to find a job that accommodates to my schedule (it's so hard to find someone that's willing to hire someone to work 6AM-1PM) and finding new books to read on Goodreads.
