Endless Bliss | Happy Lifestyle Blog: 2015 Blog Goals.

2015 Blog Goals.

On New Year's Eve, I shared a few of my goals for the new year, but I have been focusing so much on my blog lately that I wanted to share a few more of my goals associated with Endless Bliss, especially since several of the goals I spoke about have already been accomplished. Yay me! (If you got that reference, comment below and reminisce with me.)

So the blog goals I shared on NYE were:

Create a blog group // The Blogging Elite has officially launched, and we're currently working on week two. Come join us!

Create a media kit // I made a simplistic media kit using Word, and I really love how it turned out. You can check out my media kit on my sponsor page.

Attend a blog conference or meet-up // I'm really thinking I should just take a roadtrip to Dallas and meet up with some Dallas bloggers. As I'm sure you've inferred, this one hasn't happened yet, sadly.

Get blog business cards // I ordered business cards, and I just got them in this past weekend. I'm so in love with them. I even handed them out to my co-workers because I'm shameless.

Utilize my blog planner // I've actually been doing really well with this. It's pretty messy and colorful in there, but in the best way possible. This goal is technically ongoing, but I'm crossing it out as a reward to myself since I've been doing so well with it.

So crazy, right? I've already accomplished 4 out of the 5 blog goals that I set for myself. Am I an overachiever or what?

Naturally, I had to add to my goal list since I checked all of these off so quickly. Here are a few more blog goals that I'll be working on accomplishing this year:

Double my blog profits from 2014 // When I added up the amount of money I made from my blog last year, I was floored, and when I thought about it, I didn't start monetizing my blog until very late in the year. I'm hoping that my blog becomes a significant source of income for me in 2015, hence the business cards and the media kit.

Start a vlog // I've already recorded my first video, and I setup the YouTube channel I've been using for ages. Unfortunately, I'm unable to change my URL to match all of my other URLs, but that's okay. So if you want to see me be awkward, you should totally subscribe to my YouTube channel. I'm hoping to publish my first video this week!

Have 2k followers on all of my social media accounts // I've never had a goal like this as far as followers are concerned, so I'm excited to see if I can achieve this goal this year!

Create more travel posts // In the future, I would really love to be a travel blogger for a living. I think a great way to do that would be to create more travel posts and start showing people what I can do!

Create freebies and printables // I love when bloggers share freebies and printables, and I would love to start doing that for my readers! I'm not sure what kinds of freebies and printables I would be dishing out, but I would love to do it.

What are your blog goals for 2015?

Link up your blog goals with Nina and me, and let's achieve our goals together!

  5. These are great goals! I can't wait to see you achieve even more of these. You go, girl!

PS: I tried to add my link but made a mistake and can't delete it - there's a Pinterest hover button over the little trash can icon that's blocking the way. Would you be able to do it manually? Sorry for the trouble!

  8. I'm so glad I'm not the only blogger with follower goals. It's not like we want a lot of people to love us, we just want to push ourselves to invest more in the blog! Obviously, I'm subscribing to your Youtube Channel right now, because duh. And have you done a post on monetizing your blog? If not, you should do one! I really struggle with knowing where and how to start monetizing my blog.

  9. Great goals! I really want to double my blog profits from 2014 as well! When I started gathering my blog income info for taxes purposes this week I was a little shocked by some of the numbers! I really want to take my blog to the next level in that aspect this year! I also want to share more travel posts. I shared a handful in 2014 and they were always some of my most popular posts <3

  14. Thanks so much, Rebecca! I seriously adore them.

  15. Have you ever filed for taxes for your blog before? This will be my first year, and I really don't know what to expect. If you have any tips, I'd welcome them with open arms!

  16. EXACTLY! I feel like the higher my numbers are, the harder I'll push myself to be even better. I'm so excited to starting vlogging! I made Jon watch my first video, and he laughed out loud and said it was funny, but I'm hoping he's not just saying that because he loves me. I haven't done a post on monetizing my blog, but I think that's an excellent idea! I don't know much about it, but I'd love to share the bit that I do know!

  17. Thank you! I'm so excited that I've already knocked quite a few out, and we're not even two weeks into the new year!

  19. Thanks so much, Em! I'll see what I can do about deleting your link! Sometimes that Pinterest button definitely gets in the way.

  20. This is my first year filing since I've only had my blog for a little over a year and I'm so lost. So far I've got everything in a folder like my earnings & expenses and it's all a little confusing. This is my first time filling taxes period since it's my first year with a 'real' job (besides small summer jobs where you don't make enough to file.)

  21. THANK YOUUUU! I will definitely get one to you in the mail ASAP! You definitely inspired me to really go for it for vlogging, so thanks for that! I'm so excited to share my awkward life with the world. Do you know where to get royalty free music? And are you monetizing your channel?

  22. I'm excited to share them! I have so many ideas.

  23. Thank you, Kimberly! I have a great feeling about my goals this year!

  24. Woohoo! 2015 is already looking good so far! I've seen some awesome media kits out there, and mine is pretty plain, but I'm excited that it's done, and I've even sent it out to a few potential clients already. Yay! Good luck with your 2015 goals as well!

  25. A Europe blogging event sounds amazing! I hope you get to go to one! I'd love to read about that.

  26. I really love these goals! And your business cards are gorgeous. I feel weird about getting them since I just got started. When do you think is a good time to get business cards?

  28. Love your goals!! I too want to start vlogging! Subscribed to your channel! Cant wait to see what you have coming up next :)

  29. Thanks so much, Melissa! I actually just got mine after two years, but I wish I would have gotten them sooner. I think a good time to make the investment is when you have a legitimate reason to hand them out. I wanted to get them because

    1) I really want to go to a meet-up or blog conference, and that would be the perfect time to hand them out
    2) I want to start doing more snail mail stuff with my blog, so I would love to send out business cards
    3) I want to do more local travel posts, so if someone catches me taking pictures and asks why I'm taking them, I can say I have a blog and hand them a business card and look professional.

You definitely shouldn't rush to get them if you don't have a reason to hand them out, but if you can think of a few reasons you'd like to make the investment, I'd say go for it!

  30. Thanks so much, Karen! I always love when bloggers have freebies and printables, so I would love to create some of my own. I'm not sure what kind yet, but there are so many different options running through my head!

  31. Thank you! You should definitely start vlogging! Once you get the idea in your head, you'll be coming up with so many potential vids to shoot. Good luck!

  32. I've filed taxes before, but not like this. I hope I can do it on my own and not have to hire someone. I definitely need to start collecting all of my expense receipts and stuff.

  33. These are great goals Tiffany! I also really want to start vlogging and attend a blog meetup. Loved reading this!

  34. So happy you enjoyed it! Good luck with your blog goals this year!

  35. Amazing goals looks like you've accomplished quite a few already. I know you'll accomplish the rest. Good luck.

  36. Thank you, Jazmine! I still can't believe that I've already accomplished a lot of these things, and we're only two weeks into the new year! I really hope I'm able to accomplish all of my goals this year!

  37. Fantastic goals and you've made a great start already. Very excited to be part of the Blogging Elite as well

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love that you've totally tackled so many of these goals! Vlogging is one thing I really want to get into but I keep putting it off because I want to make sure I have a clean space to vlog and it just hasn't happened yet. I love the free printables and digital stuff bloggers share and need to do more of those too! Totally clicked on the Blogging Elite so hopefully I can be part of the link up next month!

  39. I literally Google royalty free music and see what happens. HA. I have no clue where to find genuinely good stuff without looking through a billion and one not-so-good things along the way. And I don't know...I'm SUCH a newbie and I feel totally clueless! Need to research...

  40. Thanks, Vicky! I'm so happy that you're in the Blogging Elite! I hope you're loving it as much as I am!

  41. I'm so excited to be diving into the world of vlogging! I posted my first video this week, and I already have so many ideas for more. I don't have all of the state of the art equipment yet, but if I stick with it, maybe I'll invest in some editing programs and whatnot. I love free printables too! I don't know what kind I'd like to make, but I know that I'd love to make some. You should definitely link up with us next month for The Blogging Elite! I'm not sure what the theme will be, but I'm sure it'll be fun!

  42. I didn't use any music in my first video because I got impatient. I definitely need to do more research too! Ah! I listened to a ton of clips of different royalty free music, and I literally liked nothing I found haha.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wow you are rocking your goals! I've barely touched most of mine! Your business cards & media kit look great! I would love to be a travel blogger too or at least be able to afford traveling everywhere!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not to be a creep but you could contact smaller youtube musicians that post covers & originals and ask about using those in videos! When I made videos (where I never talked) that's what I did!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Great post and looks like you are off to a FABULOUS start for the year. Your goals seem really achievable! I have joined the FB group and need to get my butt in gear to support you!
