Endless Bliss | Happy Lifestyle Blog: kooky keywords.

kooky keywords.

I always enjoy looking at the keywords that bring people to my blog. Sometimes when I look at them, I'm like "Okay, that makes sense," and other times, I think "What does that even mean?!" These are some of my favorite keywords that have brought people to my little corner of the internet.

"Glitter manufacturer South Korea"
Okay, I love glitter and sparkle, but I've never been to South Korea. I can't even begin to guess how a search for South Korea brought anyone to my site. I have talked about glitter a time or two on this blog though. Mostly for DIY's though, like these glitter ornaments, miscellaneous glitter projects, and this frame I got from Goodwill.

"Harry Potter guy with gap in his teeth"
I'm assuming they're talking about the then precious now seriously attractive Matthew Lewis who plays Neville Longbottom. I can't recall a time that I've described Neville with having a gap in his teeth, though I have talked about how I used to have a gap in my teeth before. I've also talked about Harry Potter a few times on this blog, namely how I am a Gryffindor and this silhouette tutorial.

This is what I found when I Googled that:

"Everyone thinks I'm too fat for him movie"
I've never talked about being fat on this blog. I do watch a lot of movies though, which I've casually mentioned a time or two. Mostly when Jon and I have a date night or if I bought some movies, which happens more often than I'd like to admit. I've talked about DCOMs, Halloween movies, and movies based on books, but I really can't think of a time that I've talked about an "I'm too fat for him" movie or even talking about fat at all.

"I got heater on Instagram"
I really don't even know where to go with this one. I've posted a few of my Instagram pictures on here, but I don't recall ever talking about a heater. Ever. It is pretty hot here though, comparatively speaking. I don't really need a heater. So...yea.

"Zac Efron at Christmas"
By far my favorite one. I've talked about Zac Efron an embarrassing number of times on this blog (well, him and Mary-Kate and Ashley. Not ashamed), so I'm excited that a Google search about him brought someone to my blog. I don't think I've ever talked about him at Christmas (though I have talked about Christmas in general, Santa included), but I definitely have talked about him with this precious dog.

This is what I found when I Googled that:

  2. So funny! Sad but true: I have no clue how to find keywords that send people to my blog. I need a crash course on how to manage and maximize traffic because I am just completely clueless in that area.

  3. I was looking at mines the other day and the most ridiculous one was "kate co worker starbucks whore" LOL. At my old blog, someone searched "public places to have sex in Burnaby" and I'm just like... what? I've never blogged about Burnaby (a city) and definitely haven't blogged about public sex!

  4. Haha yea. Some of them are so random and don't even make sense! I find myself always being super lazy when it comes to contacts. I wait as looong as possible before I have to put them in.

  5. I found mine on Google Analytics. It took me awhile to figure out how to use it. I don't know much about it, but I can try to help! Do you have Google Analytics?

  11. All you do is go into your settings on Blogger and go to the "Other" sub-category then scroll to the bottom where it says "Google Analytics - Analytics Web Property ID." In there you just copy and paste that number from Google Analytics, which is the tiny number in gray in parenthesis next to your blog name when you open Google Analytics. Next to the folder on the left side of the screen. Let me know if that didn't make any sense haha.
