Endless Bliss | Happy Lifestyle Blog: Louisiana Tech, I love thee.

Louisiana Tech, I love thee.

Day 3 of The Thankful Project is to talk about a place that you're thankful for. I had a few ideas when I first read this prompt, but one stood out to me above all of the others, so I'm pretty excited to write about it.
The place that I'm most thankful for is Louisiana Tech University {how bout them dawgs!}.

Tech was the only school that I applied to. Other than the University of South Carolina, it was really the only school that I wanted to go to. I knew I was going to stay in Louisiana, and there was no way I was going to go to LSU, so I applied to Tech, got accepted early, and I'm eternally grateful!

Tech holds some of the fondest and greatest memories that I've ever created. At least once a week, I think about college, and get a little sad because I miss it so much. People always tell me, "you can go back," but obviously it wouldn't be the same!
My graduation brick.
I don't think people understand how in love I am with my school. A lot of students that go to college don't have the spirit. They're just going to college for the education part, which is great, but getting involved on campus is really what made my college experience what it was.

I first joined Union Board at the beginning of my sophomore year. I made a lot of new friends, a few in which I'm still in contact with today. Union Board is what helped me discover my passion for event planning, which is what I really want to do with my life.
I also got the privilege of being an Orientation Student Leader {#547!}. I can't even describe to y'all how amazing being an OSL was. This is what really ignited my love for my university. Numerous memories. Lots of secrets. Unbreakable bonds. I love my 15 BFFLs.

Of course y'all have heard a lot about my college friends, but just in case you're not tired of them yet, they really are what made my college experience extra special. My Tech Fam are the people that I'll always think of when I think about college. I'm lucky enough to still be in contact with each of them via the traveling journal and of course with phone calls, texts, ridiculous amounts of social media, and reunions!

And duh, Tech is where I met the love of my life.
LA Tech holds some of the memories that are nearest and dearest to my heart. I'm so thankful that I chose the best university ever.
