Motivated Mondays: Free Your Mind (Guest Post).

So right now, I'm spending my first day in London with my EF College Break group, probably trying not to be awkward, but I'm sure I'm being very awkward. While I'm having the time of my life in Europe, I've invited a few of my favorite bloggers to guest post.

Today, I'm inviting Raewyn to take over for Motivated Mondays. Her blog, Be A Warrior Queen, is such an inspiration to me, and I'm excited to call her a friend (in spite of the fact that we've never met, but we will one day!). Don't forget to visit Raewyn and say 'hello!'

Hello! My name is Raewyn and I blog over at Be a Warrior Queen! Tiffany is one of my favorite blog friends (she's even had a dream that we get to hang out someday, which would be SO AWESOME) and I am delighted to take over a Motivated Monday while she's travelling in Europe!

Here's a picture of me in my wedding dress. If you've seen it other places on the web, I'm sorry; I'm just obsessed.

I'm one of those people that can be loud and in your face, but in the most loveable way ever. I try my best to always be happy and find the positive. My blog is one part being positive and another part starting a movement. I want to start a magazine to empower young women and girls to be themselves unashamedly.  I have a pick up truck named Chuck the Truck; my favorite clothes are 1950s inspired and I drink tea like it's going out of business. I just married my best friend of ten years and couldn't be happier! I would love if you'd stop by my blog and we could become the best of friends!

I work as a technology instructor at an elementary school and it is ridiculously motivational and inspirational. I'm the lucky teacher because technology projects lean more toward art than memorizing facts and every day I get to watch children - age 4 to 14 - use their imagination.

I remember those days where my imagination ruled my life. I had so many dreams. Some were silly like learning to ride a skateboard in high heels and others are serious, like starting a magazine for teen girls. My imagination soared.

But who says that we need to lose sight of our imagination as we navigate the logical waters of reality? Moments of hopes and dreams keep us afloat. They make the bills worth it.

But we often forget that it's our imagination that is behind it all. I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone wonder at a child's carefree imagination or  say that they wished they still had an imagination. Newsflash! You do have one!

It might be underused and hiding in a corner of your brain, but if you take a moment (say, as you're drifting off to sleep at night?) to let your mind wander you will find it. Wander past all of those nagging things on the to do list and into an unknown realm.

You'll leave that moment feeling rejuvenated and motivated.

For some, like authors, creators and artists the imagination comes easy - almost too quick. The more you imagine, the more creative your mind becomes and the more free you feel.

So what have you imagined recently?
