After I graduated from college and started my first full-time job, I was so lonely. I was living in my college town, but it wasn't the same. But I ordered Girls in White Dresses by Jennifer Close the other day, and I finished reading it in about three days. I've seen this book on so many "must read" lists that I had to see what all the hype was about. Girls in White Dresses follows three women - Isabella, Mary, and Lauren - who are stuck in a whirlwind of bridal showers and wedding bells all while having struggles with their families, relationships, and career. Yesterday I got an opportunity to do something that I've never done before - I got to go to an advanced showing of a movie. It was pretty exciting, mostly because it was free. I'm a big believer of going into flea markets and antique stores just to see what I can find.
