Our hotel key. Oh you fancy, huh? |
We threw coins in the fountain in front of the Pantheon since the Trevi Fountain failed us. |
The Trevi Fountain. Sigh. |
Standing on the Spanish Steps, which were made by the French in Italy. |
Wandering the streets of Rome. Everything was beautiful. |
Pizza everyday. |
Trastevere |
Dinner on the street |
Literally the best pasta I've ever eaten. I accidentally ate some before taking a picture. |
Bruschetta. I don't even like tomatoes, but I ate all of this. |
This pasta was so good. It had a hint of orange flavor. |
My first time eating veal. |
More tiramisu. |
I don't know what this was called, but it was so good! It was from a place called Forno Pane & Dolci, a little bakery we stopped by on the way to the farewell dinner. |
This little cannoli was full of cherries and disappointment. I've definitely had better. It was also from Forno Pane & Dolci. |
Easily the best thing I ate my whole trip. These mussels from Molo 21 were so good! I wanted more. |
all the food looks amazing. Glad you had an amazing time in Rome.

ReplyDeleteOh no the Trevi Fountain is under construction. That is so not fair.
ReplyDeleteI loved this post! Your pictures are so wonderful, and I'm actually so hungry now. I'm studying abroad in six weeks for a semester, and I'm really excited! I hope I get to see Rome!

I miss Italy so much, and your post highlighted all the reasons why! The architecture, history, and of course the food are calling my name.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I've never been to Italy but it is on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteWhen I visited the Trevi Fountain there must have been hundreds of people all trying to take a photo at the same time. I spent so much time in Italy, but if you do go back I definitely recommend Florence!
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Florence and Venice so bad! I would love to just take a roadtrip through all of Italy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Italy was so amazing!
ReplyDeleteMine too! I was to go back right now!
ReplyDeleteYes! I felt like I just ate my way through Rome, and I'm not complaining at all. THe food was so good! You should definitely make it a priority to visit Rome! I loved every second I spent there.
ReplyDeleteI know! I was so disappointed! I never got to have my Lizzie McGuire Movie moment.
ReplyDeleteIt was on mine too! I'm so happy I got to cross it off.
ReplyDeleteI loved Rome! I want to go back right now! I really want to see all of Italy. And I want gelato so much!

ReplyDeleteAH!! I love this post! It looks like you had so much fun and ate such delicious food. (I am currently hungry lol). I'm so happy you got to experience all of this!
ReplyDeleteI was so unbelievably happy the whole time. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThe food was so so good. I'm getting hungry now just thinking about all of that yummy food.
ReplyDeleteHaha of course! I'll pack you in my suitcase!
ReplyDeleteI literally cannot even say how jealous I am about all of this! Take me with you next time? :)
ReplyDeleteYes! It would be an awesome adventure to go on together. So much fun. I'm in love with Rome!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! I have really been wanting to go on a guided trip like yours but haven't had the chance! I know for a fact that I am going to save up to go on something like this next year!
ReplyDeleteYou should! It was so so worth it! After traveling with EF, I couldn't imagine having done it any other way. They take care of all of the little things that you don't want to have to worry about, like your flight and hotel rooms, and the tour director usually has experience in the cities, so he can tell you all the fun places to go and good places to eat. Good luck saving up!
ReplyDeletesuch a great city! I think i took about a million pictures when I was there, there's something about Rome that brings out everyone's most photogenic faces! I also ate a pizza every day, I was pretty sure there was no pizza or wine left in the city by the time I left! Next time you go, be sure to have lunch at Babette (http://www.babetteristorante.it/)! Out on the back patio, it's amazing!

LOVE Rome. Just looking at the photos of the pizza makes me super jealous that you were there! I totally want to return. And how fabulous was the hotel keychain? Love it! www.GlamKaren.com
ReplyDeleteI'm so incredibly jealous you went to Rome!! My best friend just got back from Rome after studying abroad there for the past semester. Everything just looks soo magical there!
ReplyDeleteI'm also in LOVE with your lion king tank!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! I want to go back now that I have a better camera. I loved drinking wine in Italy. It just felt right. Even the ones I didn't like, I still drank because drinking wine in Rome is so much better than drinking wine in America haha. I'll definitely have to check out Babette next time I go! It looks so pretty and quaint.
ReplyDeleteI loved that hotel keychain! It's so much better than the little plastic key cards we get nowadays. I want to go back to Rome so much! I would love to just explore all of Italy. I loved it so much.
ReplyDeleteEverything about Rome is absolutely MAGICAL! I love Italy, and I feel like I need to go back ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI actually got my lion king tank on sale for $4 in this random store that I can't think of right now. I feel like I need to own more Lion King/Disney clothes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had an amazing trip! Next time you go - take me with you!...I seriously need a vacation <3
