I took a trip to Italy last year and visited the Vatican as well; probably my favorite part of the trip!! It was so beautiful, and every aspect of it was perfection, down to each detail of the architecture. It's something you just can't experience anywhere else!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these travel posts but especially the Rome ones! I'm so excited to go back in September. The Vatican at night is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places...we used to walk through it and look at the pope's window (back when the pope lived in the papal apartments) and imagine what he was doing hahaha.
ReplyDeleteCan we just switches places for like an hour. I am dying to go to Italy. Just freaking out in jealously over here in Jersey.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo's
ReplyDeleteThe Vatican is pretty amazing!! When my friend went, the pope was out giving a speech to a large crowd--could you imagine? Glad your trip was the stuff dreams are made of. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pope speaks every Wednesday morning and Sunday at noon when he's in Rome and when it's nice/held outdoors you don't even need tickets! :)
ReplyDeleteHow super amazing!! <3 It is so beautiful! <3
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are stunning!!! Such a beautiful place on a beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteYes! It was so perfect (though it could've been a little cooler, but I'm not complaining). I loved visiting the Vatican!
ReplyDeleteRight?! I still can't believe I was able to visit.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have seen him too! That would have been so cool!
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have known that when I was there! Maybe next time!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with Rome. It made me want to visit every other city in Italy. I could totally just do a tour of Italy and be okay with that.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you get to go back! September isn't very far away at all. Looking through the pope's window and imagining what he was doing sounds like a fun game haha.
ReplyDeleteIt was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip too. You really can't experience it anywhere else. People were much more careful and took their time with all of the architecture back then.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your travel posts. Looks like you're having a blast!

My architecture-photography-loving self wants to go there! Not as much as it wants to go other places (just a matter of taste) but still. Glad you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteYes! I want to go back. Rome is my new favorite place in the world. Everything about Rome was a dream come true!

ReplyDeleteOmgosh, your pictures are beautiful! You really captured it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I feel like these pictures hardly do it justice, but that's only because it's even more beautiful in person.
ReplyDeleteToo bad I wasn't able to see him in action! I was raised Catholic and think it would be a neat experience. Thanks for the info! I'll try to go if I ever make it back to Rome. :)
